
With heavy rain of several parts of Himachal Pradesh, the cumulative death victim of death due to incidents related to rain in the state from 20 June increased to 80.
52 Of these deaths, disasters such as landslides, lightning floods and cloudbursts were directly attributed, while 28 deaths were caused by other causes, including traffic accidents, according to the State Office for Catastrophe (SDMA).
The report defines “other causes” as the inclusion of electricity, bites of snakes and parachutes from steep terrain.
SDMA clerk said: “According to the cumulative data compiled by July 7, the state recorded 80 deaths-52 from rains-induced incidents, 28 of traffic accidents.”
The rain -related death included 14 due to cloudbursts, 8 in lightning floods, 1 from landslides and other electric current, drowning and falls caused by weathering events.

The dog saves 67 lives in the mandi
In the middle of continuous rains, lightning floods and landslides in Himachal Pradesh, which claimed lives, the district of Mandi was the worst hit, which was 17 rain -related deaths.

7 districts face lightning flood risks
On Tuesday, the local meteorological department warned against the risk of low to medium lightning floods in parts of seven districts in the next 24 hours.
These districts are Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Kulle, Shimla, Solan and Sirmiaur.
Officials said that since the beginning of Monsoon 20. June, Himachal Pradesh witnessed 23 lightning floods, 19 cloudbursts and 16 landslides and 52 people have so far died in incidents related to rain in the state.
According to the State Emergency Operational Center (SEOC), there are 225 roads, of which 153 in the worst district of Mandi, closed and in the state affected 163 transformers and 174 water supply schemes.

‘Yellow alert’
The meteorological department released a “yellow” warning of heavy rains in isolated places in the state next Monday.
From June 1 to July 8, Himachal Pradesh received 203.2 mm of rain, from normal 152.6 mm.
During this period, the Mandi district recorded 110 % of rain surplus, shimla 89 % and 86 % UNA. Monsoon hit Himachal Pradesh 20 June.
