
On Wednesday evening in Hamirpurov Nadaun, the election district of the main Minister Himachal Pradesh Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, three suspicious drones were seen.
Flying objects were seen in a gauge and sera, a native village of Sukhu, said PTI press agency report with citing eyewitnesses.
After seeing them, the locals took video and pictures and informed the police.
Bhagat Singh Thakur, Superintendent Police (SP) – Hamirpur, said on Thursday that on Wednesday information about two to three suspicious drones were received, after police teams and DSP visited the place.
But when the police arrived at the place, there was no object in the sky, Thakur told reporters.
“We have shared details with security agencies and the matter is investigated,” he also said.
Maharashtra: Drone found in the Shahapur area in Thane
On Thursday, a drone located in a village in Shahapur Taluka in the Thane district was found after the police launched a probe, the official said.
It was found in Fugale Village by some boys who pointed out the Kasar police, said the clerk.
“It is suspicious that the drone belongs to the irrigation department, which conducts the Vaitarna dam. The spacecraft is on. We invite people not to believe or distribute rumors of recovering this drone,” the official added.
In a separate development, police commissioner Thane issued an order prohibiting flying drones and similar unmanned air vehicles within 3 June.
An order was issued, which entered into force on 14 May, with regard to the “seriousness and urgency of the situation”.
“The preventive step has been taken with regard to the possibility that these devices are using some miscreants in the city. The aim of the ban is to maintain the right and order and prevent public peace from being disturbed. No person can fly with drones or similar facilities in the jurisdiction of Commissioner Thane City.
