Two people were arrested and heroin worth over 6 GBP Crore was confiscated from their possession in the Assam district of Cachar, said Chief Minister of Histant Bisw Sarma.
“Based on trusted intelligence, she performed an operation against the narcotics of @cacharpolice in the area of the Saptagram under the Dholai police station,” Mr. Sarma said in X position late on Saturday (July 20, 2025) in the evening.
He said that 1.22 kg of heroin worth $ 6.22 was seized in the operation.
“They were two arrested in this respect. Kudos at @assampolice,” Mr. Sarma added.
