The helicopter service Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand was suspended on Friday (9 May 2025) in the evening before renewing operations on Saturday (May 10, 2025) noon. Officials stated that the service was temporarily closed due to the waiting check -in with regard to the increasing tension between India and Pakistan.
The helicopter service Char Dham Yatra was closed at the orders of Nový Delhi. It was expected to last longer and affect the pilgrims to Kedarnath, but the restoration brought pilgrims relief.
