Representative of the main Minister DK Shivakumara chaired a high -level meeting on Monday to discuss the 45 acre land in Hebbal in Bengalur, demanding Bengaluru Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) for the development of a multimodal transport center and two metro stations.
At the meeting, Mr. Shivakumar asked the Council for the development of industrial areas in Karnataka (Kiadb) and BMRCL to conduct interviews and solve the problem by paying compensation to those who owned the land.
BMRCL submitted a formal application for land that is under the control of Kiadb. Kiadb gained land for private developers. BMRCL has proposed compensatory affected landowners according to the latest stands for land acquisition. However, the delay in land transfer stopped has stopped progress in the metro project.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Industry of the MB Patil and BMRCL Maleshwar Rao, along with higher government officials.
