The Indian National Information Service Center for Oceans issued a red warning of the coastal section between Munambam and Maruvakkad due to a risk of 3 to 4.2 m high waves outside Kochi. Warning is valid by Monday by 20:30
Meanwhile, the state monitoring system of rain has announced that the PERIYAR basin monitoring levels in water remain below the flood warning levels. According to official communication, points in Kalady, Marthandavarm and Mangalappuzha recorded a safe water level.
