Weather in Delhi
In the middle of the rising mercury, Delhi recorded the highest minimum temperature in April in three years at 25.6 degrees Celsius, 5.6 degrees above normal.
IMD said, “Warm night conditions were observed yesterday.
A similar trend was observed in 2022, when the highest minimum temperature reached 26.2 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 40 degrees Celsius in the middle.
The weather department issued a yellow warning of the wave conditions in the Delhi-NCR and predicted a partially cloudy sky.

Heatwave in Rajasthan
IMD said that serious thermal wave conditions prevailed in Rajasthan, while Burmer recorded the highest maximum temperature in the last 24 hours at 46.4 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Center in Jaipur, the heavy heat period in the state is likely to continue for another 24 hours.
However, due to the activation of the new Western disturbance, there is a possibility of storms, strong winds at speeds of 40-50 kilometers per hour and weak rains in some places in parts of bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur and iodhpur 10-11. April.
Due to the effect of storms, there is a strong possibility of temperature drop by 2 to 4 degrees, which during this period provides relief from heavy heat.
It is expected that temperatures will increase again from 14 to 15 April, which will bring another period of serious heat from the southwest Rajasthan.

Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh
The Heatwave conditions are likely to continue over Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh 9 April and 10th April and then improve, IMD said.

Middle and Western India
On Tuesday, several states of the middle and western India Heatwave faced with temperatures rising to a burning 46.4 degrees Celsius in Rajasthan’s Barmer.
According to the MET department, a total of 27 stations recorded temperatures equal to or above 43 degrees Celsius in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. At least 19 of them recorded the thermal wave to the difficult conditions of the wool.
The ongoing wave wave in northwest India is likely to be alleviated from April 10 and in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh from 11 April, IMD said.
During the 9th-11. April, “under the influence of western disruption; collision along with storm and lightning, impact winds” are likely to occur in northwest India, IMD said on the center.
