At the middle level, Andhra Pradesh staff at the medium level of healthcare/Association of Community Health Officers (APMCA) entered the unlimited strike throughout the state on 25 days and increased its requirements for government intervention. The heads of the trade unions submitted the representation to the main minister N. Chandrababa Naida and representatives of the main Minister Pawan Kalyan and are waiting to address their long -term questions.
In an interview with Hindus, the President of APMCA N. Niranjan said: “According to National Health Mission (NHM), nearly 23,000 employees, of which 10,000 community health professionals (Chos) work in AP.
Previously, when we organized a protest in November 2023, a special main secretary of the Ministry of Health, Medical and Family Care MT Krishna Babu assured that our problems would solve, Niranjan said, adding that even though no announcements remained in favor of Chos.
Chos plays an essential role in the Ayushman Arrogya Mandir (AAM) program, which is a key part of the Ayushman Bharat initiative. They are medium -level service providers who provide comprehensive primary health care services in AAMS, which are essentially upgraded health and wellness centers (HWC).
Chos was on a strike throughout the state since April 10. In the Prakasam Chos district, he took a huge rally and organized an innovative protest by showing yoga asanas at Church Centers in Ongolo on Friday. M. Rajesh, Vice President of APMCA and Cho of Dornal Mandal in the district, demanded a revival of EPFO for their job security.
