
The state government will soon introduce the health insurance system for newborn newborn, Minister for Health and Family Care. Subraminian said on Sunday.
Mr. Subramanian, who spoke at the event in Thanjavur Government Medical College Hospital (TMCH), said about 9.5 lakh supplies in the state, born approximately 50,000 infants. The proposed system aims to ensure medical monitoring and care of such infants from birth.
The announcement was made during the inauguration of 16 new medical buildings built at the CRORE price of 11.82 GBP and the ceremonial laying of the foundation for 13 other buildings worth 7.45 crore. The event was chaired by the collector of the district of Thanjavur B. Priyanka Pankajam.
Mr Subramanian emphasized the efforts to strengthen early detection of diseases and stated that the diagnostic center of the body in TMCH was upgraded at the cost of the CRORE 5 GBP. While private hospitals charged 17,000 to 18,000 GBP for whole body checks, government hospitals now offer the same for 1,000 to 4,000 ₹.
The Minister quoted increased confidence in public health care and said that the parachute of patients in government hospitals doubled. To further improve the services, the nursing department with 28 rooms with 28 rooms with a daily fee of 1,000 ₹ was launched on TMCH compared to 8,000 to 9,000 GBP charged private hospitals.
He announced that a specialized transgender department was opened to TMCH. Over the past four years, the hospital has added 80 buildings worth 65.8 Crore with a 50-bed block of 23.75 GBP, which is to be launched by the main minister during his visit next month.
The Minister of Higher Education Gii Chezhiaan, MPs, Mla and local officials were present.
