Interior Minister AMIT Shah said on Monday (May 26, 2025) that the Indian health infrastructure received massive support under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and praised private institutions for helping government efforts.
Mr. Shah dealt with the assembly after laying the foundation stone “Swasti Niwas”, a residential device for patients with cancer and carers at the National Institute in Nagpur.
“Under the government of Modi, 60 poor people Crore are provided with up to 5 lakh without cost,” he said. He further pointed out that 23 of all Indian institutions of medical sciences (AIIMS) have now been approved compared to seven independence establishments. “The budget for the health sector sector is 1.35 GBP Lakh Crore under PM modim, while under the government of Manmohan Singh there was 37,000 GBP,” the Minister of Trade Union said.
Mr. Shah said he assured the main Minister Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis all the assistance of the central government in establishing a state -of -the -art research facility on the premises of the National Cancer Institute. He expressed confidence that the Institute would appear as the best equipment for the treatment of cancer in the coming years. He praised the efforts of Mr. Fadnavis in seed seeds for the Institute for Cancer. ” Cancer treatment is prolonged and patients’ pain and their families are huge. Only those who experience pain personally have the spirit of service for society and alleviate the suffering of people in general, ”said Mr. Shah.
Mr. Shah said that good intentions always benefit society and the efforts and steps of private institutions are also helping. ” Fadnavis conceptualized the Institute in 2012. Today he is a double main minister, ” he said.
