Congress leader and former Minister Chandraskhar Dubey, known as Dadai Dubey, died in the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi on Thursday (July 10, 2025) in the evening, the party leader said.
He was 87 years old and was subject to treatment in the last and half months, said the head of the Congress Committee of the Palam District Congress Jayesh Kumar Pathak, aka Bittu Pathak.
Pathak said that Dubey had represented the bisrampure bisrampsters in the Palam district five times. He also served as a member of the parliament of the Dhanbad parliamentary district.
Pathak expressed his condolences over Dubey’s demise and said he had lost his father a similar guardian.
In his condolence report, Jharkhand, Minister Hemant Soren, said Dubey’s death was an irreparable damage to Jharkhand.
In the paper on X, Mr. Soren said: “He remained active in politics for a long time, Dubey has always raised his voice for rights and people’s rights. His death was an irreparable damage for Jharkand.” “May Marang Buru grant peace to the soul and give the strength to the mourning family to carry sorrow,” he added.
AICC Jharkhand K Raju and President JPCC Keshav Mahatat Kam and his predecessor Rajesh Thakur also agreed to Dubey’s death.
