Main Minister Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naida receives a petition from people in Kuppam on Thursday.
He reiterated that the proposed Godavari-Banakacherla project would not damage the interests of any state, the main Minister Andr Pradesh N. Chandrababa Naid on Thursday claimed that he had never opposed any irrigation project that the Telengan government could deal with Godavari.
Mr. Naida, who ended his two -day tour after the KUPPAM election district, addressed the media.
Responding to Telangana’s Opposition to the Banakacacherla Project, He Said, ”I Was The One Who Brought The Devadula Lift Irrigation Project for Telangana in the Unified Andhra Pradesh. After Inspecting The Srisailam Project GODAVARI.
“Both the upper and lower coastal states (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) can share Godavari waters,” he said.
Pointing out that in the last hundred years, 2,000 TMC FT Godavari has been flowing into the sea, he said, “Although 200 TMC FT will use Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, it will benefit both states.” The solution of water problems would increase the entire Teluga community, he claimed.
Later Mr. Naida received complaints from local people in his residence and went to Bengalur for his next trip to Amaravati.
