Do you think that the criticism of Virata Kohli Robin Uthappy was justified?
“Throughout this conversation, it was not the intention to talk about Virat. This conversation was supposed to be about me. I was asked by the question I was talking to. At that moment I did not take into account sentiments of the virat,” Uthappa said on his YouTube channel. “My relationship or my friendship with Virat was influenced by this. My teaching was when I talked about him, I acknowledged that I was supposed to talk to him before, even though it was what I believed.”He further clarified that his notes were not directed to Kohl as an individual, but to the wider style of leadership he observed. “I haven’t talked about my experience with virat. I talked about what I saw under his leadership one of my closest friends. The original comments of Uthappy were much more blunt. In this interview, Lallantop claimed that Kohli could be the leader of the “cut neck”. “If he didn’t like anyone, they were cut. Rayudu was an example. He had clothes at the World Championship, a set for a set, everything ready, thought he would play. But you closed the door. That wasn’t fair,” Uthappa said. The 2007 World Cup winner now admits that while he had the right to express his views, the episode taught him a valuable lesson on sensitivity and communication in cricket fraternity.
