
Minister Meghalaya Alexander Laloo Hek on Tuesday demanded that the families of Sonam and Raja Raghuvansehi apologize for the dirty image of the state and its people in connection with the abominable murder case. He also warned against gossip administration if he did not comply.
Police arrested Sonama Raghuvanki for the alleged murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi when they were honeymoon.
He thanked the police for meghalaya for the rupture of the case and said Hek: “We are grateful to the police Meghalaya for a breakthrough in the ongoing investigation of the murder case RaghuvanShi.”
However, in finding an apology from both families, the Minister stated that if he did not do so, a case of defamation will be given.
“Now we are looking for an apology from the families of Sonama and Raja RaghuvanShi for taping the image of Meghalay and her people.
“The accused will be brought here since the incident took place in the state. We have no problem if they want to pass the case to the state police, the central police or the probe agency, but the truth has already prevailed,” Hek added.
A case for the wedding couple Indore
Raja and Sonam Raghuvanki, both indore residents, disappeared during their honeymoon to Meghalaya. Last time they were seen on May 23, June 2.
A few days later, Sonam Raghuvanki was found near Dhaba on the main Varanasi-Ghazipur road.
Previously, Meghalaya, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong, confirmed the arrest of four individuals in connection with the murder of Raja RaghuvanShi.
Reaching media 9 June Tynsong informed that she voluntarily turned to the Nandganj police station in the Ghazipur district in the neighborhood of Uttar Pradesh and later arrested.
All four accused arrest would be brought to Shillong for further investigation.
The Raja Raghuvanki family previously wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking for the CBI investigation.
