
The High Court in Kerala ordered the State Government and other participating parties to deal with environmental problems, which represents the extensive use of small plastic water bottles, especially in tourist destinations in hilly areas, wedding receptions and other celebrations.
The Court of Justice ordered the stakeholders, including the Council Council in Kerala, to submit their proposals by Monday by Monday.
Although he proposed the implementation of the purchase system that Kerala State Beverages Corporation could collect such plastic bottles and return them to alcoholic companies for recycling, the court noted that such a system could significantly reduce plastic waste in the state.
Government and local self -governing bodies would be implementing agencies for any directives issued in this respect.
The SUO Motu case was adopted after the fears marked while driving a fire in the Brahmapuram garbage plant in Kochi in 2023.
Previously, the court quoted the Directive of the High Court in Madras prohibiting plastic bottles of water in locations such as Kodaikanal. This also caused the use of alternatives to plastic, such as glass bottles.
