
The justice of Moushumi Bhattacharya of the High Court of TELAGNANA reserved orders in a criminal proposal submitted by the main Minister Telgnan A. Revanth Reddy, who tried to cancel the case registered against him on the basis of preventing atrocities against the planned law on the tribes.
The case was registered by the Police Gachchchibowli of Cyberabad against Revanth Reddy in 2019 after a complaint filed with one N. Peddi Raju, who claimed that Mr. Reddy and others abused him on behalf of his caste. Mr. Revant Reddy was the third accused in this case. He was then a deputy Malkajgiri. His sibling and another person were the first and second accused.
The prosecutor of the palle of Nagesshwar Rao, who submitted the claim in front of the bench, said that none of the eight witnesses were summoned by the investigation officer compiled evidence that Mr. Revant Reddy was present when the alleged offense (abuse on behalf of the caste) was committed. Mr. Revant Reddy filed a criminal petition that was looking for a direction to cancel the proceedings.
