The High Court in Kerala extended by another two weeks, his earlier interim command limited the arrest of Shekhara Kumar, assistant director for recovery (ED) in Kochi, who faces the case of alertness of 2 Crore 2 Crore in Kollam in connection with money probes.
Mr. Kumar submitted a preliminary action in this respect. In part, the state government quoted the need to analyze digital data obtained from the mobile phones of other accused. The court postponed the matter until 3 July.
The case concerns a complaint filed by Aneesh Babu, a cashew entrepreneur who claimed that the clerk of ED demanded a bribe to stop the proceedings under the Money Laundry Act (PMLA).
