
The High Court in Kerala has sought out details of the Advisory Committee, which the state government appointed to complete the instructions for the donation of the authorities.
While he listened to litigation in the public interest (Pil) filed by the 19 -year -old son of Thrissura, who died due to kidney disease, the court sought details as a list of members of the committee and also its functioning. The requirements raised in the saw include the need to set up a portal under the district allowed committees or under the organization for transplantation and tissue in Kerala (K-Sotto) for the donation and reception of organs.
Pil also points to the gray areas in the donation of organs used by intermediaries. The case was sent for hearing 7 July.
