The US Embassy in India has stated in the X post: “Screening visas in the US will not stop after the visa is released. We are constantly checking the visa holders to ensure that they follow all US laws and immigration rules – and cancel their visas and deport them if not.”
Previously, the Embassy ordered all visa applicants to determine from the last five years details of all their clues on the social media – failure could lead to the rejection of visas.
“Visa applicants are obliged to state all usernames or handles on the social media of each platform they have used in the DS-160 visa for the last five years. Applicants confirm that the information in their visa is true and correct than signature and submission.”
The F-1 visa is issued to students who follow academic studies, while the M-1 visa is for those who are written in professional or other non-academic programs. On the other hand, the J-1 visa is provided to individuals who participate in teaching, study, research or educational programs in the workplace, usually lasting from several weeks to several years.
