According to officials, Mr. Madhu appeared at the police station where his statement was recorded. Later he was released on bail. The case was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by Velayudhan, a local secretary of the Indian Communist Party (Marxist) (CPI (M)) in the Eastern Kallad.
During the speech at the Kundar temple event in Kollam, Madha argued that Vedan’s songs were promoted by casse -based extremism. He described Vedan’s art as toxic and claimed to have been accommodated by Venom into the minds of the younger generation. He also claimed that those who support Vedan were sponsored by elements that dreamed of the country’s destabilization. Mr. Madhu continued to say that if Vedan’s songs were played to attract crowds today, they could introduce cabaret dances tomorrow in the temple.
After being released on bail, Mr. Madhu repeated his statements against Vedan and said that his statement was not focused on a personally attack on the rapper, but on the policy he was advocating.
