The Minister of Food and Civil needs said on Monday that Paddy’s orders harvested in the district will be completed within two days. A total of 60,374 metric tons of the second crop has been purchased from 24,969 farmers in the district.
In the first crop, the total paddy was acquired 74,348 metric tons from 33,792 farmers and received 210.55 crore. The Minister stated that unpeeled orders are carried out vigorously.
He said that some delays occurred only in places where large trucks could not be brought. Among the officials of Supplyco and the owners of the rice mills were interviewed to solve this problem. The Minister stated that the required measures were taken to solve the problem.
Anil said that the price for awarding public procurement was paid to all farmers who were provided by a sheet of non -peculiar confirmation (BRS) this year. Farmers receive the price of public procurement via Breast loans by the State Bank of India and Canara Bank.
The Minister stated that a breast loan agreement with Canara Bank expired 31 March and there was currently an effort to restore. After the renewal of the contract with Canara Bank, payments for the Paddy acquired will be made to all farmers, he said.
Central scheme
Mr. Anil said that the decentralized system of the central government has strict conditions that may not be beneficial for farmers. However, he said that the state adapts the project to better support the needs of farmers.
The Minister pointed out some problems in the decentralized system of awarding public procurement of the Center. For example, other countries have public procurement centers and the collection of Paddy from these centers would be considered as a period of public procurement.
In Kerala, however, there are no public procurement centers. Therefore, the collection time is considered to be the time of awarding contracts in the state. “Such differences are often the reasons why the center holds our claims,” he said.
The Minister claimed that the central government owed Keral 1,108 Crore with minimal payments of support prices dating back to 2017. He quoted technical problems stored by the center as obstacles to the state.
