“Rana’s surgery was performed by Dinshaw Pardiwalla at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He was advised to undergo surgical repair of the lateral meniscus. After the surgery and a period of rest, he will begin rehabilitation and report to the BCCI Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru,” sources told TOI.“While Rana has missed the T20 World Cup, it is also likely that he will be sidelined for a significant part of the upcoming IPL, if not the entire tournament,” the sources added.
