England introduced a new era in cricket white ball and named 26 -year -old Harry Brook, as her new captain with limited transmission after the resignation of Jos Buttler as a result of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Buttler, who led England to the World Cup 2022 T20, resigned after the team failed to register the only victory on the Champions Trophy trophy and limited the section of disappointment in 2019.

Brook, support in the English setting of bats since 2022 and currently placed in 2 place in the ranking of ICC test bats, was long considered a natural leader. Last year, the captain of England in Buttler’s absence during the series against Australia and previously led the U19 party at the 2018 World Championship.
“It is a real honor to be appointed English captain of the White Ball,” Brook quoted.

“Since I was a child playing cricket in Burley in Wharfedale, I have dreamed of representing Yorkshire, playing for England, and maybe one day the team is leading.”
Brook also expressed gratitude to those who created his way: “I want to thank my family and coaches who supported me on every step on the way … I wouldn’t be in this position without them.”

The first task of Brook as a captain will be the home series against West Indies since May 29, followed by matches against South Africa in September.
