Young England dough Harry Brook was appointed a new team captain with a white ball and was replaced by Jos Buttler, who resigned from his role after the Trophy 2025.
“It is a real honor to be appointed English captain of the White Ball. Since I was a child playing a cricket in Burley in Wharfedale, I have dreamed of representing Yorkshire, playing for England and perhaps one day.
“I want to thank my family and coaches who supported me at every step.
“There are so many talents in this country and I look forward to moving forward and working on victory, the World Championship and the important events.
