Harmanpreet Kaur was in the amazement of Spinner’s left shoulder Shree Charani, who recently played a key role in the Indian victory 3-2 against England in the women’s T20i. In her series Maiden T20i, the Charani The Player of the Series won after ending up as the highest goal with 10 scalp out of five matches at an economic rate of 7.46.
Charani is also part of the ODI series, where India starts a campaign on Wednesday, July 16, in Rose Bowl in Southampton. Harmanpreet said Charani attracted her eyes in the women’s Premier League 2025 (WPL), where she played only two games and picked up four goals at an economic rate of 8.87.
“She is a key player for us. In WPL, where she played two to three (two) matches (for Delhi capital), it was impressive. From there we all (team management and selection) had a cottage that we could be a very good choice for us,” Harmanpreet said in front of Odi.
Charani did not take the time to hit his straps in the T20is, ended up with the characters 3.5-0-12-4 on the debut at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Although it was Mandhana, who became a player of the match for her girl T20i set, Charani won the award for her brilliant bowling.
“We were still rotating the players to see who suited well, who could give the team the most. She was all excellent for all of us. The player like her is very important. With her, even Radha (Yadav) made a solid comeback.
After winning the T20i series, India would try to get off at the beginning of the Flying ODI as part of their preparation for the ODI World Cup, scheduled for September 30.
