Hotel Haritha in Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwal district is all set for infrastructure upgrades, with Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) CEO P. Gouthami directing officials to prepare estimates for the construction of a compound wall and installation of a lift.

Ms Gautami toured the hotel on Monday (August 31) and inspected its accommodation rooms, restaurant, banquet halls and surrounding areas. She also inquired about the occupancy of the rooms and the banquet hall and evaluated the cleanliness, maintenance and services provided to tourists.

While directing officials to prepare estimates for the proposed infrastructure works, Ms. Gautami stressed the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness in the hotel. She also asked officials to take precautionary measures to protect iron equipment and structures from corrosion caused by salt water.

It further directed officials to formulate and implement a targeted action plan to increase revenue from the Haritha unit. Measures were also sought to improve the occupancy of rooms and banquet halls with an emphasis on providing quality services to tourists while increasing TGTDC’s income.
