
Members of Harith Karma Sena (HKS) in Ernacula were handed over to the Ernacula on Friday, June 13) to make their work more efficient in the campaign “without a waste of Keral”.
The Kudumbashree District Mission organized a function in the Thrikkara Community Center. The district now has 4,024 HKS members. At the meeting, which discussed the possibilities, challenges and meaningful interventions of the agency, the presidents and secretaries of various HKS consorters across different local bodies were discussed.
The Executive Director of the District Council for the Social Fund S. Jayamohan spoke about programs and benefits for an unorganized workforce. Members of HKS were trained in how to take online membership to benefit from programs. Clean Kerala Company Limited Technical Assistant PA Sabitha led the session of the segregation of not biologically distinguished waste. HKS members were trained in audit and maintenance of accounts. They also shared their experience.
