
The Minister of irrigation N. Uttam Kumar Reddy accused the leader of BRS MLA and former Minister T. Harish Rao of the insulting of the judiciary for his criticism of the PC Ghos Commission Commission on the Kaleshwaam project and demanded an apology.
Mr. Reddy said that former Chief Minister K. Chandrashkhar Rao and Mr. Harish Rao were rattling after the court commission revealed financial discrepancies and that the Kaleshwaram project was approved without the consent of the cabinet, with contracts signed under the dubious instructions of Mr. KCR and Mr. Harish Rao.
“Have you launched a fraud worth thousands of Cror and now called the Political Vendet Court?” He asked Mr. Harish Rao on Tuesday.
The Minister recalled that the former CM KCR and Mr. Harish Rao appeared in front of the court commission. “Why didn’t Harish Rao arise these objections before the committee? Why now come out with unfounded accusations before party workers?” He asked.
A detailed report of the Commission revealed extensive discrepancies, design deficiencies and structural failure in the project of irrigation of Kaleshwaam lift, especially sinking the thumb Medigadda.
Mr. Reddy said that Congress believes in democracy and judiciary, and was therefore ready to organize a assembly on the basis of a commission report full discussion. “Those who are found guilty, including former ministers, are welcome to join the debate and introduce their version,” he said.
