Hare Krishna Vaikuntham begins the month-long Damodara Deepotsavam

The month-long ‘Sri Damodara Deepotsavam’ began on Monday evening at Sri Sri Radha Madana Mohana Mandir, Hare Krishna Vaikuntham, on IIM Road in Gambheeram, Visakhapatnam.

Organized by the Hare Krishna Movement, Visakhapatnam, the celebrations will continue till November 24 with programs every day from 7 pm.

The first day featured Harati, Sankirtan and a speech on the significance of Damodar Masa (Kartika month) by Nishkinchan Bhakta Das, the president of the movement. Devotees offered ghee lamps while chanting ‘Damodarashtakam’.

The movement invited the public to participate.
