
Hajj 2025: Saudi Arabia The Ministry of the Interior announced sanctions for individuals who violate regulations requiring permission to carry out Hajj 2025 and for those who make such violations facilitate.

Zil-Qad is eleventh month and Zil-Hajj is twelfth and the last month of Islamic year. This month, the main hajj rituals are carried out in the holy towns of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.
Here is a list of sanctions announced by the Ministry
1- to perform Hajj without permission
First, a fine until the Saudi Riyals 20 000 (INR 4.53 707) will be imposed on individuals who have been caught, who have appeared or attempt to perform Hajj without permission during the specified period.
2- facilitate hajj without permission
Secondly, a fine until the Saudi Riyals 100,000 (INR 22,68 536) will be imposed on anyone who asks for a visa for an individual who has been carried out or tried to perform or who entered or remained in Mecca and holy places. Kaaba, the most sacred Mosque of Islam, is in Mecca.
The fine will be multiplied for each individual involved. The same fine will apply to anyone who, during the specified period, as well as those who are hiding or try to protect the visa holders, including hotels, apartments, private housing, hiding places or hajj pilgrims’ apartment, will apply to the same fine.

“This involves hiding their presence or provision of assistance that allows their stay. The fine will be multiplied for each individual of protected, hidden or assisted,” the Saudi Ministry reads the announcement.
3- Shipment of Visa Visa Holders
Thirdly, the same fine of the Saudi Riyals 100,000 (INR 22,68,536) will apply to anyone who transports or attempts to transport visa visitors to Mecca and the Holy places, as well as for those who are hiding or trying to clean the visa holders, including hotels, apartment apartments.
“This involves hiding their presence or providing assistance that allows their stay. The fine will be multiplied for each individual of protected, hidden or assisted,” reads the Ministry’s announcement.
4 – illegal infiltrators will be deported, prohibited
For the fourth time, illegal infiltrators who try to perform Hajj, whether residents or excessive exposure, will be deported to their countries and forbidden to enter the kingdom for ten years.
This includes hiding their presence or providing assistance that allows their stay.
5 – Vehicles seized
The notification stated that the competent court would be asked to seize ground vehicles used to transport the visions to the mecca and the saints during the specified period if they were owned by a transporter, a facilitator or any classmate.
When will Hajj start 2025?
Hajj is an annual pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina, the two most sacred cities of Islam in Saudi Arabia. The pilgrimage is performed during a specific period that culminates with EID-AL-ADHA.
This year, Hajj is expected to take place from June 4 to June 9, 2025, depending on the observation of the Moon, which means the beginning of Zil-Hajj, the 12 months of the Islamic calendar. Pilgrims are likely to start their way to Saudi Arabia until the end of April.

The first flights from India bearing 288 pilgrims from Lucknow and 262 from Hyderabad went to Saudi Arabia 29 April.
