
The Department of Informatics and Computing at JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru, on Saturday organized Hack-Olympic 2026, a 24-hour nationwide AI and FinTech (hardware and software) hackathon.
The event was launched at the ISE Seminar Hall, Golden Jubilee Bhavan, in the university campus.
The Hackathon brought together innovative minds from across the country to collaborate and develop cutting-edge solutions in the field of artificial intelligence and financial technology. It provided a platform for students to apply technical knowledge to real-world challenges while fostering creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills, a press release said.
The event was coordinated by Dr. AM Chandrashekhar and Dr. MA Anusuya, under the guidance of Dr. KM Anil Kumar, Head of Department.
Sowmya N. Swamy, Vice President, Wells Fargo, Bengaluru was the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. The program was chaired by Dr. AN Santosh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor JSS STU. Prof. were present. Dr. SA Dhanaraj, Registrar, and Dr. C. Nataraju, Principal (UG) and Dean (Engineering & Technology).
