The museum police arrested a 55-year-old habitual offender, identified as Biju alias Attingal Ayyappan, in connection with multiple criminal cases including theft and assault.
According to the police, the accused, a resident of Chirayinkeezhu, was taken into custody as part of a targeted operation carried out under ‘Operation Dark Hunt’ aimed at apprehending persons involved in serious crimes.
Police said Biju had been issued non-bailable warrants on at least two occasions prior to his arrest. Based on police intelligence, the team tracked him down and made an arrest after a search operation. He was taken into judicial custody.
