SCS recent order for hotels on the Kanwar Yatra route
July 22, the Supreme Court refused to stay on the “QR” directive for restaurants along the Kanwar Yatra in Up, Uttarakhand and ordered all hotel owners along the route to show its licenses and registration certificates in accordance with legal requirements.
Bench, who heard the case, said: “We are told that today is the last day of Yatra. In any case, it is likely to end in the near future. At this stage, we would only accept that all the relevant hotel owners will observe the mandate to display the license and registration certificate.”
