Guruvayur was declared without extreme poverty for the mission of the state government to achieve “keys without extremely poor families”. This announcement was made by the MLA NK Akbar on the office held in the Guruvayur Town Hall on Friday.
As part of the initiative, he identified a survey at the level of 188 people living in extreme poverty. They were given housing for homeless, allocation cards, basic identification cards, medicines and food sets. Those who need help in a living were supported by self -employment. The position was chaired by the municipal chairman M. Kršhnadas.
