
The five -time world champion Magnus Carlsen won his seventh chess title in the Norwegian chess after the American Grand Master Fabiano Caruana made a good turn by defeating the star of India D Gukesh to earn three full points in the last round of Norwegian chess.

Muzychuk’s draw in a classic game against India earned both players every point, while Vaisali secured another half point by defeating the Ukrainians at the sudden death of Armageddon to end up 11 points.
The Norwegian chess format gives three points for a classic victory. In the case of the draw, players share one point followed by Armageddon Tie-Break, where the winner gets another half point.
If Vaisali defeated Muzychuk-Kry was overnight at 15.5 points-in a classic game, he would get rid of the Ukrainian Grand Master of three points to bring Humpy Konera to the title to have a double world champion within the Chinese world champion Ju Wenjun in a classic game.
