Environmental activist Greta Thunberg claimed that after arrest and removal from the fleet that was transmitted by Gaza, she was exposed to hard treatment of Israeli.
E -mail sent by the Swedish Foreign Ministry said to people close to Greta Thunberg, said that an official visiting an activist in prison said she claimed to be detained in a cell infested with bugs, with limited food and water.
“The embassy could meet Greta,” said the Swedish e -mail of the Foreign Ministry. “She informed about dehydration. She got insufficient water and food. She also said she had developed rashes that she suspected was caused by bugs. She spoke of hard treatment and said she was sitting on hard surfaces.”
According to the news portal report, the Israeli forces also reportedly forced to hold flags, although the identity of the flags remains unknown.
“Another detainee reportedly told the other embassy that they saw her (Greta Thunberg), who was forced to hold the flags while the pictures were taken. She wondered if her paintings were distributed,” the ministry officials said in the news portal report.
What do other activists say?
Turkish activist Ersinçelik, a Sumud Fleet, told the local intelligence portals that the Israeli authorities allegedly pulled Greta Thunberg’s hair in front of the eyes, defeated it and forced her to kiss the Israeli flag.
“Little Greta (Thunberg) for her hair in front of our eyes, beat her and forced her to kiss the Israeli flag. They did everything she could imagine like warning to others,” Ersinçelik told local news portals.
According to a report by Lorenzo d’Agostino, a journalist and another participant of Flotilly, he claimed that Thunberg was “packed in the Israeli flag and came like a trophy”.
Greta Thunberg is one of the 437 activists, deputies and lawyers who were part of the global Sudud Flotilly, a coalition of more than 40 vessels carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza. Israeli forces captured all ships and, according to media reports, arrested each crew member.
Before this, the detention activists were prosecuted by Israel, but now, according to non -governmental lawyers, activists, water, hygiene, medicines and immediate access to their legal representatives, in a clear violation of their fundamental rights to proper process, impartial court proceedings and legal representation were detained.
