The day after about 40 grown trees on Hyder Ali Road in the city, the environmentalists organized an emergency meeting and decided to organize vigil in candles and the “11th day of death” for trees as part of their two-phase program.

They also created a “combat committee”, which consisted of members of various organizations that attended a meeting for this purpose.
Parashurame Gowda from Parisar Balaga said Hindu that he would organize a two -phase program that emphasizes their protest against tree felling on Hyder Ali Road.

Subsequently, activists will organize death rituals for felled trees 11. The day of planting seedlings at the place where the trees stood, Mr. Gowda said, adding that their gesture was focused on the report that the trees were also living beings.
Environmentalists also expressed their anger and disappointment over the forest department for allowing Mysuro City Corporation to cut off the trees to expand the road.
Regarding the apology of the Forest Ministry that public hearing was not necessary, if less than 50 trees were reduced, environmentalists argued that the forest department and the public works department agreed with the Mafia of Wood by performing the trees in the phases to avoid the law on public hearing.
“Although 200 trees are interrupted, they are chopped in phases of 47 or 48,” said the environmentalist.
