The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) has announced a two-day special green waste disposal drive in its jurisdiction. Commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy issued the driving directions in all circles during a teleconference on Monday. Additional Sanitation Commissioner CNRaghu Prasad appointed one officer-in-charge to monitor the drive in two circles. Director (Urban Biodiversity) N. Sunanda has been deputed to work in coordination with officials of the power distribution company who are engaged in tree trimming. The commissioner directed officials to conduct a green waste removal drive every Monday, the statement informed.
