
With the man Mahadeshwara (MM) Hills announced a “zone without plastics”, the deputy Commissioner Shilpa Nag ordered officials to ensure strict recovery of the ban and to make “Green Deepavali” during the upcoming fair “Green Deepavali”.
During the video conferencing with officials who review preparations for Deepavali Jatra Mahotsav, which is planned on Monday 18.
It ordered the authorities to ensure complete compliance with the ban on the use, distribution and transport of plastic materials in and around the temple area and to create awareness of restrictions.
The checks will be set up on all entrance points to the hilly shrine to avoid devoted to the transfer of plastic items that will be confiscated if they are found. Mrs. Nag added that the Mahadeshwara Men Office will support the use of environmental alternatives.
Organizations and donors of food and water distribution must use biodegradable materials such as paper boards and cups. Food donors must register and obtain previous permits and ensure proper collection and disposal of waste generated after distribution.
SAC volunteers will be deployed both in Taalabetta and in MM Hills to encourage devotees to cooperate in maintaining the area of clean and without plastic.
Mrs. Nag urged devotion, donors and merchants to join the hand at the celebration of the ecological Deepavali, retain the sanctity of the sanctuary of the hill and ensured that it remains a zone without plastics.
