In an unprecedented step, Denmark seeks to change the copyright law that will allow citizens in the country to have the right to have their body, voice, and facial characteristics in the middle of the world that deals with an increase in the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
According to the Danish government, all major parties have supported the bill, causing illegal and forbidden to use deep and other forms of “digital imitation” that imitate man’s features.
“In the bill, we agree and send a clear message that everyone has the right to their own body, their own voice and their own facial features, which obviously is not how the current law protects people from generative AI,” Guardian quoted culture Jakob Engel-school.
He added: “Human beings can be browsing through a digital copying machine and being abused for a variety of purposes and I’m not willing to accept it.”
It will also include a “realistic, digitally generated imitation” of the artist’s work without their consent. If someone proposes the proposed rules, this could lead to compensation.
If technological platforms do not fulfill new legislation, they may face “serious fines” and the problem could be escalated to the European Commission, Jakob said.
He noted: “This is the new land we break, and if the platforms do not meet it, we are willing to take further steps.”
What are deep?
Deepfakes are a form of synthetic media created by artificial intelligence, especially techniques such as deep learning and generative contradictory networks (GAN). They manipulate a sound, video or pictures to see someone to say or do something they actually never did.

Why could this decision make?
Deepfakes of generated AI were evident all over the world. While some Deepfakes can be quite fun or even completely funny, many cause serious damage in different ways. Last year, he was arrested in Wisconsin in Wisconsin and faces up to 70 years in prison for more than 13,000 images of deep abuse (CSAM).
In another case, in March 2024, two secondary school students in Florida were arrested for alleged naked deep rays of their classmates.

Even celebrities are not immune. For example, Jenna Ortega focused on Deepfake Nude, which boldly operated advertisements on META platforms. Scarlett Johansson and Tom Hanks also had their faces used in ads, without their involvement, simply because someone deep their paintings.
In May this year, President Donald Trump signed “tools for the well -known exploitation of immobilization of technological Deepfakes on the website and network law (Sunded ACT)”, which requires that websites and social media platforms must reduce Deepfake within 48 hours. While the law prohibits “consciously publish” or the threat to publish intimate images without the consent of the individual, including Deepfakes generated by AI, does not solve the tools used to produce such content.
