The marketing department will soon take up the construction of cooling and warehouses (GODOWNS) by using the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as arranging camera systems with a closed circle on the agricultural markets and the Bazaars.
At a meeting with higher officials of agriculture, marketing, oil, seeds and other line departments that took place here on Tuesday, the Minister ordered the authorities to accept at least 2 lamp samples by the end of the month so that the agricultural community could take proper crops suitable for their land. He also wanted the authorities to submit the final list of Credit Companies of Primary Agriculture (PAC).
The Minister expressed a dismay on the non -conduction of the audit of the apex cooperative companies and ordered the authorities concerned to take the necessary measures against the audited officers concerned. In addition to taking up the construction of new gods and cold songs, it was necessary to improve the storage capacity of existing facilities, he noted.
He asked the marketing department officials to ensure that only real farmers sold their production in the rhythm bazaars and told them to install camera systems of a closed circuit in all rhythm and agricultural bazaars to prevent private traders from being creep into the facility. The minister wanted officials to organize digital imaging boards in all markets.
He also told them to reorganize the existing market yards on the basis of proposals received from elected representatives in order to create possible. The Ministry of Agriculture’s ministry explained that about 40 lakh cotton packet seeds have already been placed in the districts before the rainy/cut season, and over the next 10-15 days there would be 2 more Crore packages.
