The Keral Government Medical College (KGMCTA) Association plans to observe the “Black Day” on Monday (September 22) and on Tuesday 23rd September protests against the Office of Medical Education and the Government Faculty and claims that the government has not failed their various demand.
Rosanar Begum, chairman of the State of the Association, and the Secretary General of CS ARAVIND on Sunday (September 21) stressed that a serious lack of faculty at government medical faculties and wage revision have not yet been resolved.
Their main requirements include the creation of the necessary functions at the government medical faculties in the Caragod, Wayanad, Konni and IDUKKI in accordance with the National Medical Commission instructions (NMC), the creation of new functions in all medical universities to balance the medical ratio-pacient and are available according to NMC instructions.
The Association also sought to deal with the salary questions of persons in the cadre at the basic level, the necessary repairs in the revision of wages and payments of wages at the Faculty of Medicine, decoration, such as civil servants and court officials at national level, as well as non -affairs.
The Association officials argued that the government ignored the creation of new contributions and in creating new medical faculties. Faculty leaders are transferred from other medical faculties to fill the contributions in these institutions. This adversely affects not only medical education, but also about treatment at all medical faculties. Doctors working in these institutions considered difficult to manage work pressure, the press release said.
The low salaries of those freshly appointed associate professionals discourage young professionals from entering government service. Many young doctors will end in operation for the same reason, the association said.
KGMCTA plans to strengthen its protests in the coming days without affecting the smooth functioning of medical faculties. The Association threatened to boycott teaching and OP duties unless its requirements were met.
