The Tamil Nadu government would soon decide to perform elections for various functions in rural local bodies that lie in different parts of the state, the Minister for the Development of Rural and the Panchayat Raj I. Periyasama department on Wednesday.
CPI MLA K. Marimuth (Thiruthuraipoondi), CPI (M) M. Chinnadurai (Gandarvakottai) and SP Venkateshware PMK (Dharmapuri) insist that the state government carries out the electoral electoral electoral electoral activities.
In response to their requirements, Mr. Periyasama pointed out the proposed inclusion of certain rural areas with neighboring municipal corporations, and in this respect the defining process must be completed.
