
He noted film producer and actor R. Narayan Murty on Monday that the disturbance of sompet against the establishment of the thermal power plant in July 2010 forced both the Union and state government governments to concentrate and prefer the green energy and plans for the construction of new thermal plants throughout the country. He said that the folk movement in the sompet inspired many to protest against the polluting industry and thermal plants in the country.
Together with the Human Rights forum coordinator for Telangan vs Krishna and Andhra Pradesh HRF State President Kvjagannadha Rao, Mr. Narayan Murtha, he paid honors to those who died in police shooting at protesting near Sompet on July 14, 2010.
On this occasion, he urged the government not to allow the destruction of nature, because such actions would lead to natural together.
Mr. Krishna added that the protection of water bodies should be the first and most important priority of the government.
President Parirana Parirakashana Sangham Y. Krishna Murty, who chaired the meeting, said that the cooperation of people had caused the government to cancel permission to build a thermal plant in the Sompet district in the district of SRIKAKULM.
The next session was remembered by the Secretary General of the State Secretary of AP BC Sangham, Dhellirao and Pastor David Abraham victims of many families during agitation in 2010 against the thermal power plant. They dropped seedlings and promised to protect water formations in the district.
