Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge told the Prime Minister Narendra Modi that convening an emergency session of Parliament amid state polls reinforces the belief that the government is rushing to implement the Women’s Reservation Act for “political mileage”.
In a letter to Prime Minister Modi, Mr. Kharge reiterated the demand for an all-party meeting to be convened after April 29 to discuss the delimitation issue linked to the 2023 Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam amendments.
