Leader leader Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Minister of SC Koppula Eshwar accused the state government of getting 17 for the handover of residential educational institutions to corporate companies.
Mr. Eshwar said on Sunday that GO would have an impact on about 20,000 families whose members work at residential schools. He claimed that the government seriously neglected the 253 best available schools in the state.
While the previous government of K. Chandrasekhar Rao increased the seats by 17 000, a total of 26,000 students were sent from schools to gain entry elsewhere because their accounts have not been paid by the government in the last two years.
He said that the death of several students of residential schools due to food poisoning and other reasons in the last 20 months has reduced the faith of parents in the system and affected the confession.
