Given that the WAQF law (amendment) has now announced and protests against the legal regulations planned in Hyderabad, the Theangan government has to decide on the future procedure in terms of the Constitution and another nomination of the TELANK STATE WAQF (TGSWB) Council.
This comes at a time when the Muslim Joint Action Committee, which includes organizations such as Tehreek Muslim Shabban and Majlis Bachao Tehreek, along with other political leaders, and Osman Al Hajiri, the leader of the Congress attacked by the Karwan voters, and the organizations that were associated with him.
“There are several major changes in the law with the transfer of changes, in particular as regards the composition of the Board of Directors,” said the head of the Board of Directors. “The date of the law is 8 April. Given these changes, the government seems to take some time to decide.”
According to those who are familiar with the development, including members of the current elected Council, the amended legislation stipulates that, according to section 12, one member of the Bohra and Aghani communities must be nominated for the Board of Directors.
“The number of members should not exceed 11. This represents certain challenges in terms of adaptation by law. In addition to Bohr and Aghakani members, as entrusted with law, representatives of Sunnis and Shiites must also be included, as it should be a member of classes, which means Pasmandas.
“Section 12 also includes the provisions of one member of the Mutawall community. However, there are two at present. Similarly, while the new act enables one member of the Bar Association, there are currently two,” he added.
“One of the main arguments during the commencement of the bill was the integration of non -Muslim members,” the clerk said.
Another official of the Board of Directors noted that the conditions of members representing parliament and the state legislator expired last year. The Government has not issued a notice of the reconstruction of these positions and, in view of the new legislation, has to announce what course it is intended to monitor.
While the discussion is taking place, Hyderabad Assaddin Owaisi MEP filed a written petition at the Supreme Court, which challenged changes and sought to be canceled during the hearing. Meanwhile, the Council for Personal Right for Personal Law has stated that it will call on the public to initiate protests and also turn to the top court to challenge new legislation.
