Former Minister and BRS MLA T. Harish Rao accused the main Minister A. Revanth Reddy in terms of income policy controlled by liqueur at the expense of public well -being.
In his statement, Mr. Rao claimed that instead of providing relief to citizens, the government ensures that more people have more access to alcohol at higher prices. He criticized an increase in the fee for the application for alcohol trade from 2 lakh to 3 lakh and said that the arbitrary increase in alcohol prices also showed the government’s intention to double the income of excise duty.
He said Congress promised to remove the trades of the belt, but now they flooded every village with a liqueur. He claimed that CM was pressure officials to achieve alcohol sale goals.
Mr. Rao also claimed that the government was pushing micro -brewery into every city, making Telangana into the “status of drinkers”. He also accused the government of deceiving the Gowda community by announcing a 25% reservation in wine stores, while failed to implement even an earlier 15% quota introduced under the KCR government.
