The government on Wednesday released 153 crore on Wednesday to clean the long waiting accounts for Panchayats.
This enormous financial pressure led to check -in 9,990 accounts, all in the category of 10 lakh, which provides much needed relief Panchayats and Sarpanches, which spent their money. These accounts await the BRS government.
“This initiative is part of a government commitment to solve financial pending pending items inherited from the previous administration, which has left a significant volume of gram banknotes unpaid,” the official said. The current government favored the permission of waiting fees and excellent accounts by August 2024 will be solved by a gradual way.
In addition to Panchayat Gram payments, the government also approved 85 GBP Crore for various development work within the Special Development Fund (SDF). These funds are expected to help Sarpanches with their debts and also contribute to the continuous provision of services.
