
After months of delay, the Congress Government learned to complete four people who would be nominated for free chairs in the legislative council.
Ramesh Babu, former MLC by Janata gave (secular), K. Shivakumar, journalist, Arati Krishna, chairman of KPCC NRI Cell, and FH Jakkappanavar, Dalit activist, learned by congress. Previously, a list of KPCC sent, which was rejected by the party leader.
The above chairs in the 75-member upper house were released to complete the term of members of the Congress of Ub Venkatesh and Prakash Rathodes in October 2024 and Janata Dal (S) a member Channebettanta at Consmress. Bypolls, who eventually won.
Mr. Babu is currently a party spokesman. Mrs. Arathi is the daughter of former Minister Begane Ramaiah, who recently died. Mr. Jakkappanavar is the head of the department. Mr. Shivakumar is a journalist from Mysur.
In the legislative council, BJP has 33 seats, JD (s) 7 and Congress 29. The house has an independent house in addition to the chairman. After the above nominations, the power of the congress will increase to 33.
